High flow, 0 phosphates for a good 3 months now.

Yes added one stupid rock I won from SCRK a while back! When I added it one of my towers fell and it stirred a sh!t load of sand. And then I cried and went in the shower like the crying game. Why Sanh? Why??????

Nope, cause I trimmed it down last week removed 80% of it. Only thing I can think is I caused it by using too much gfo.

yes i think they are dinos as well..... i didnt change water for a week and it took over my tank. all the dinos are like just killing all my corals........ its like a slimy brown gooey crap. some ppl mentioned that raising the ph for a long period of time might take care of the problem

My ph has been high. The time I got rid of them was no lights and I would change the water with natural ocean water. No artificial. Also used a bacterial source.

This stuff is bad. The stars are enjoying it though.

i dont think its too much gfo im running a lot of gfo right now
Dino's rear their head when there is an imbalance. In my case I probably nuked my good bacteria (too much gfo) and now caused the Dino strain to become dominant in my little glass box.

My cyano is still going strong too. For you guys with vortec pumps, whats your ideal pump placement on a 50 gallon cube? I trimmed down my rock scape so it's not so obstructive in the center, though I'm still not done with it. It used to be a tall "C shaped" mountainous structure.

Worst picture ever, but the MP10's are placed about 5-6" below water line running random mode (yellow) at around 85-80%, slave is orange knob.

The majority of the cyano is on the sand bed in the front of the tank.

You gonna microscopically remove what I need? Lol, dude I hate dino's. I'm not stressing it just not all that pumped I have to stay on top of it.
