they feed on filamentous hair algae... depending on the tank, they are hard to feed...

get a flame hawkfish... my favorite fish in my tank, and stay small...

Fridmani. Beautiful fish.

Good luck
Mike
I like that one too. Ali had some beautiful ones at his store. I might try one after I set my new tank up. I think they are less aggressive than other dottybacks but I may add one to my already established tank once I do my swap.

What types of fish are you into? Particular color maybe?

I don't like Hawkfish personally, they are little punks from what I've seen. Cool looking though.

I have a yellow canary wrasse... great fish... nice bright yellow color.

Another of my favs is my Australian Banded Pipefish... in your quiet tank it might be a nice unique option. Key is to get one eating mysis at the store. Mine comes out into the big current to feed with all my other fish... I like it a lot.

Don't get a Squareback anthias though... don't do it... seriously don't do it. I hate mine. When I move tanks she is going bye bye.

Ya I also vote either a 6 line or maybe a couple of cardinals? I have a couple of them and I really like them alot. They are a very mellow fish and can handle a chaotic tank, or one with gradual flow. I have a 70g display with an MP40w and my cardinals do well.

+1 Sixline They are sometimes overlooked for the more expensive wrasse but I've had one for about 3 years and he is always out cruising around.

I would stay away from the 6-line as they are mean buggers. I have a fridmani pseudochromis(orchid dottyback) and it is an amazing fish. Stay away from the purple dottyback as they look very similar to the orchid but are mean as heck.

I love the yellow coris but they get to 5" and I wouldn't consider them a small fish.

The helfrichi firefish is sweet looking and would be a great nano fish. Very peaceful and easy to keep.
