I called PYA and asked them if they could ID what type of flame wrasse I have and was told 2 things:

1) its hawaiian
2) So apparently my flame wrasse is changing from female to male and will probably become a dominant male in 2 or 3 months.

:)

Thanks to Mike/SexyCorals I now have a flame wrasse trio.
He hooked me up with a supermale and a female flame. The submale flame I got from Age of Aquariums.

The photos dont do the newest additions justice. The colors are unreal. I haven't seen the female since I woke up at 1230 but then its only been 4 hours since i added it. I already saw the supermale eating mysis and staking claim on a corner.

Tank in the new home. Dont mind the **** around it. Gotta redecorate once we settle. All fish accounted for in the holding tank. Finishing up the move this afternoon

Sorry for the poor quality; lens is only a Tamron 28-75 f2.8, and, well...fish don't listen to instructions. I did very minimal iPhoto adjustments.

Very Nice wrasses. Where are u getting them? I wanna pick up a few for my new tank.
PYA in Lake Forest. Off hand, they have a lineatus, scotts fairy, tomminks, naoki, and about 15 leopards in stock (I know im forgetting some). Theyre also expecting more within next few weeks.

Ive never seen so many colorful wrasses in one store. Also their fish are fat, healthy AND eating pellets. Well worth the drive
