Check out these new rocks I got today

They have magnets on the back that hold them, and they're pretty strong. This isn't their permanent spot, I just threw them in to see how they worked. Now I gotta move around some rocks to get them to fit

Once I get some corals growing on them I bet they will look pretty sweet

Preamble: I'm not hating, just sharing a legitimate concern.

Although these do seem new and exotic I am concerned about the impact on flow. We strive to keep a minimum space of 4 inches between our rockwork and the tank walls to maintain proper flow. With the rock literally attached to the tank wall, an inevitable concern is its effect on flow. I suppose if they are suspended above the main aquascape this effect can me mitigated. However it would lead to an aesthetic conundrum to be answered by each individual reefer and dictated by their own unique system configuration. Just my ramblings...carry on.

I plan on removing some of my rocks. And I guess it's just my opinion, but I think the rocks "floating" on my back wall look pretty cool!! Especially when coral start growing on it

Still don't get "golf clap"

From wikipedia- " A golf clap is a form of quiet clapping, so-named because it is the preferred form of applause for golfers; louder forms of applause are discouraged at golf tournaments so as not to disturb other golfers, who may be in the process of attempting a shot. Golf claps are sometimes used at other events to heckle or to show sarcasm."

Ive seen a guy on CL that actually creates a rock backing... (not horizontal though)
Your set up Looks cool !
Golf clap is like a half-a$$ed clap.. Kind of like an... "ehh" with a shoulder shrug.
My b-ball coach in 3rd grade gave me one when i told him i could make a half court shot... When i missed he made me run then told the team to give me a golfclap.., so confusing for a 3rd grader

Ya I've been busy this week, and I haven't had time to change everything around. I just threw them in to make sure they didn't fall or have any problems, I would have been pissed to change around my rockscape to just find out theyre a POS.

I am guessing that it is a pretty large magnet that holds the rocks.
Wouldn't there be a concern regarding the leaching of the magnet into the water?

Who complains about white rocks? Reaching on that one... um they look like any new rocks that are added to a system.

Certain magnets (I think they are referred to as rare earth magnets) or ones that are coated are no problem.
