Hey everybody,

My names Skyler, I'm from Santa Maria.
I have a standard acrylic 240 gallon reef with 55 gallon refugium and a euro reef 360 sump. I'm currently running a 4' 6 bulb t5 Hamilton Fiji sun on the right side of my tank and a 4' 4 bulb t5 light on the left. I have two new Mp40s on either and a mag 24 return pump. I built the return and overflow box and also drilled the tank myself. I also built the stand. I'm thinking about upgrading my pump to something less noisy although I have pretty good flow throughout. Any recommendations as to a good pump would be appreciated.

As for what's inside the tank...
I have 100lbs white sands and 100lbs black. Roughly 200 lbs of live rock.

I've been working in this system for roughly 2 years. Slowly adding and building on. Love the hobby and have been keeping fish for over 15 yrs.

Pics and love stock list to come.

I gotta rotate my pictures when I get hone then I shall post em... But in the mean time I have a question about my mp40s. What setting is typically best for a mixed reef? I currently have them set to ramp up to full blast in the alternating mode. I've been thinking about setting them to be constant at full blast or something close to it.
