How do you plan on raising the stand?

We're gonna build up the bottom and top with 2x4s and then cover it with moulding and a nice crown moulding on top to make a nice ledge to set my wine glass on.

Oh, and I'm also gonna want to add a frag tank under the stand after a while. The sump is a 55g so I have a good bit of extra space between the Dart pump and the other side of the cabinet wall. I wanted to have one plumbed into the main system and there is no space anywhere other than there because my bathroom is on the other side of the wall. So that'll mean putting in some fans in the side of the cabinet and canopy.

If your making the stand high you could make a Lil steal stand for a future frag tank like Lawrence (angelfish killer) is doing on his sump design.
