Hi guys I have a spectra pure 90gpd unit. I was wondering if I could upgrade my unit to dispense more water? I'd like to avoid purchasing a whole new unit. Thanks in advance.

Why? 90GPD is a good size!
Reason being is that I'd like to be able to make more water in the least amount of time, while also wasting less water. With my new tank being 360g not including sump I want to be able to have enough water in case or emergency.

You sure can. Just get the kit from BRS. It is called "BRS 150 GPD Water Saver Upgrade Kit" and you're good to go.

I have the spectrapur mpdi 180gpd and they say optimum input pressure should be between 60psi and 80psi.
Lower than 60psi and it won't produce at thw specified rate from what I understand.
I actually had to decrease the pressure going to my unit. It was at 110psi but boy did it make 5 gal. Fast.

Another stupid question. How do I know when it's time to replace the ro membrane? I've had this unit approximately 3 yrs. I do change the cartridges when my TDS meter starts to read 1, which last me about six months.
