So I just started my venture into mushrooms and I got a jawbreaker. Only trouble is it won't attach to a plug. Any veterans on how to make them attach preferably without glue. It has been sitting in a cup with a plug for over 2 weeks.

put it on a rock, then wrap it in either bridal mesh, or some mesh from a cheap 99 cent loufa/body wash sponge thingy... put a rubber band to hold it in place, but don't put the rubber band on the mushroom, just the rock...

I was thinking about this but its pretty small. And is there a chance of squishing it too hard?

I agree. Worked for shrooms and xenia in my experience. You can also use rubber bands on each end of the mesh to give the shroom room and avoid from squishing it. As long as it's trapped in there, it'll attach.
