Welcome back to the hobby...I will see you soon. You do not go with the bare bottom tank.
Tony
Thanks Tony, hope to see you back soon too. Talk to you soon. I still like the natural look of sand even though BB is way more practical. Will see how long I hang on to it this time.
Thanks so much for the kind words Allen!
The back tonga supported on the shelf magnets? Looks real nice. Could be more blue though but real nice nonetheless.
Good eyes Cody! I wanted to get a look at the tonga shelf before I cemented it together so I used the Magnetic racks to support the sides. It's holding pretty good so might just leave it. It is really blue actually. I just turned the blues and LED's off for pics so I don't have to white balance.
welcome back terry....progress is awesome....I am actually surprised you did sand this time. Your the one that convinced me barebottom was way to go. Glad your still around the corner from me.
What did you use for sump, skimmer.
Hi Ken, good to be back. Didn't realize how much I missed having a reef! Now I feel whole again, lol. Heres a pic of my sump...
54.5 x 30 x 22T raceway designed to hold max volume so I can water change up to 50g and leave everything running. Still setting all the axillaries up, but I want to be able to drip my new water changes in slowly like my last system. Haven't set up the reservoirs yet so still doing splash and dash water changes for now. Skimmer is a Bubble Magnus curve 7... skims well but we wills see how it does when the bioload ramps up. Come by and visit sometime neighbor!
Rock work looking amazing. Lots of room for coral placement all over.
Thanks Vu, now all I need it corals to place all over...
Nice! Any reason for going all KZ bulbs over the more popular ATI?
I have had luck with both brands but always been a fan of KZ.
Kz are awesome! That's all I run, along with a coral +
Coral+ is a great bulb too!
