ATI blue plus will be the best bulb par wise and spectrum wise you can get.

Grimm Reefer on RC is the King of T5 bulbs. I would pm him and he could tell you how to line em up.

If you wanna use purple or Fiji colored ones only use one or none. Aqua blue special for day lights, or if you like it really white the GE 6500 will give you lots of growth.

Personally I didn't like the GE color but my corals never grew as much as when I used it.

The important part is having the blue in there and a white bulb as it has all the color spectrum you need.

The reason I would stay away from purple is that its not all that beneficial to have a red spectrum and from what I read it promotes brown color which I have plenty of, Agggghhhhhh!

If you look in the thread he started you should be able to see your exact fixture with number of bulbs.

I would do mostly B+'s, aqua Blue, actinic bulb, and whatever else you like.

This is what TOTM Mike is running config is; b,p,b,ge,b,b,ab,b.

All ATI except the GE 6500

thanks guys for all your input, yes I will definitely look for his forum. You guys have any experience with giesseman? German thought it would be used more, kinda expensive compared to ATI..

Go ATI. I did a lot of research and I was running wave point bulbs before and I was so happy I went with ATI. They looked awesome. I only had a 4 bulb setup and I went 2xblue+ 1xATI actinic and I used 1xATI purple +. Tank looked so good. I was also running 14k MHs by the way. If I was running all T5s I would have thrown in an aqua blue special. Good luck

how many lights can you have?

i have been running 6 36 inch t5 bulbs over my tank and i have had great growth. i just replaced my bulbs this past week too and made a little change in bulb colors.

im using ATI bulbs and one GE 65k.

front
ati blue +
ati purple +
GE 65k
ati blue +
ati blue +
ati blue +
back

it has a super bright icy white day light look to it. i was a little afraid to put the ge 65k in the mix but i like the look of it. it looks white and only has a slight greenish tint that can only be seen when looking at the bulb it self, not the tank. it made the yellow corals show of a little more. my sunset milli was gold and green and now with the 65k in the mix it holds its gold a little more. very suttle color changes to the ati aqua blue it replaced. click below for par levels from the bulb. (they are from my old bulb setup though when it was new.)

I'm a big fan of the GE6500. I'm more of a 12k look and a 20k look.

i recently purchased a aquatic life 6 bulb fixture with timer. I'm liking it so far. I'm going to use the bulbs that came with it for the first six months then switch them for the ati bulbs. I've seen a few reefs that have great color and growth with them and swear by them

I followed Grims thread, and have been very happy with the results. I'm a little on the blue side... corals are doing great (SPS, LPS, Softies)...

Placement front to back:
ATI Blue+
ATI Blue+
ATI Purple Plus

ATI AquaBlue Special
