I have a gray setup for it. But I'm still on trial and error with that sea swril. The white is easier to see if its go moving.

Hi :) Just noticed your avatar Nem..I was given one by lfs because they were gonna toss it in the trash! I have gotten it to health now and baby.jpg looks just like your pic , am wondering ..is it a rose of some kind, I can't find a similar one in ID section.. Thanks . BTW..Can't wait to see your Nem Tank..JEALOUS! :) Jami

It is a type of rose nem. But not a straight rose. Most rose nems are defined by their red foot. Their are many different types of rose nems.

Well today I added my calcium reactor to the tank. Just to add a sence of stability to the peramaters. I'm not good at dosing so the crx was the way to go. I got a new solenoid and check valve. Low effluent with a low bubble count should b ok for a tank with a low calcium consumption rate.

This is an unhealthy stressed Rose nem. Had one before, after a few weeks/months it got healthy and turned red again.

You don't have snails in there? I'm evil and added my snails a week after my cycle started and none ended up dying. They took down that algae like nothing.

It looks a little better then it did 4 days ago. This is what it origanaly looked like.

No real cycle. I cycled all the rock and water a month b4 setting up the tank, in the tank I got from mike(SmallTime)

Thanks guys.
Well here's one of my old nem back at home. He was about 4" across now he's an inch. I'm kind of lucky that it didn't die from the crash.


But soon this bad boy is mine

I think it's almost time for someone to change his avatar lol ;) I'm thinking ill be able to pick it up this weekend John if ur available? I've got my phosphates down to .11 and hope to have them down to .05 or lower by the end of the week.

I'm free friday from morning till like 2 and Sunday all day. Also some ie guys might come down friday so I can drop it off with then as well. If that doesn't work I can bring it to the meeting as well

I have to work fri and sat. I would like to see the new setup and give u the cash.

I'm just glad I'm able to save this bad (butt) specimen from John death grip. We all know how many thing he's killed lol just messin with u John.
