Looks like I saw the video before their intended release. Hopefully they will make it public soon. The pricing is through the dealers to my knowledge.

The brs video was awesome. Although, it looks bulky, both monitor and modules, the software and interaction appears superior to apex. Apex programming is well it's programming and code, old, old. Software updates with Ethernet cable, well its old, old. Vertex seems to have jumped way ahead of apex in software and will have to see how bulky vertex' hardware really is. Yeah for competition!!!

Yea but the apex has start of the art new ugly *** color scheme!

I'm looking forward to seeing what this vertex is all about. Also wonder what the power bars connectivity is like... I am sure once someone comes out with some power bars that are easy to decode and very cheap DIY raspberry pi type controller will come out that can utilize them and end up being the best controller.

Vertex is one of the best companies imho. Anything they touch comes out to be a great product and yes I just got another pre order. The price is stupid cheap and I give it a week before the price goes up to $699

That Multi-bar is huge... Although according to Vertex, it's surge protected so I guess that's why its bulky and large? At the same time, maybe the reason why is large is that it has:

6 Relay controlled Sockets
2 x PH Probe Ports
1 x Redox probe Port
1 x Conductivity Probe port
1 x Dissolved Oxygen Port
1 x Par Sensor Port
2 x Optical or Mechanical Level Sensor ports
2 x 1-10v Channels

So it doesn't need all those breakout boxes, VDMs, and whatnot. Also, I'm also curious about the "accessories" they keep pushing on us.

I'd be interested in it if it comes with a leak detector like what the Apex has.

You are correct, it comes with a lot of features that will not have to be added later at an additional cost. I do know there are a lot of extras that you will be able to add to this in the future but I'm not sure exactly what and when they will be available. Here is a list from 2011 of what they were planning. I would expect that list may have changed by now. I would expect that leak detection is still coming.
