I'm just curious what the "programming" is like. I remember the reefkeeper lite settings were done through menus/setting values and it was the most non-intuitive thing ever. Without code, I'm afraid it'll limit what can truly be achieved by a probe or device, but we shall see. I saw the BRS video on programming dosers, but it was far from intuitive as they would like to claim. I still felt you needed some kind of setup guide to know what you were doing.

Was it ever disclosed as to what would come with this introductory offer?
It was also mentioned that "The only offered probe will be the temperature probe. Other probes are extra. All other probes will be on sale for 10% as well for extremely market competitive prices"

Also, they said the complete offering will be announced tomorrow.

BRS just listed the Cerebra with full details on what's in the package:
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/cerebra-aquarium-controller-package-vertex.html#tab-full-details

Also, BRS list the controller as "Beta version"; it makes me think that an alpha version of the controller will be released someday in the horizon? I'd rather pay full price for an actual version with all the kinks worked out (and maybe a resized multi-bar, 20"L is pretty long and won't fit parallel on my tank stand...).

Am I a cheap arse yellow man or does anyone else NOT seeing the value proposition in this deal, even at their introductory price? No pH probe? That's like an apex jr but with an extra two outlets. Common guys, at least throw a pH probe in there for kicks. At least that will be along the price of the Apex Lite when they used to sell those. Even then, that came with an energy bar with 8 outlets vs 6 on this new controller. Not Apex fanboy nor bashing legitimate competitor to the game. Just doing a value added comparison for the cheap arses, lowballing, freebies loving SCR homies.

I agree with your thoughts but I have a question Except for a calcium reactor internal pH probe, why would you have interest in a pH probe. Except for opening a window, there is little you can do to modify pH so I have always thought of them as irrelevant.
