Hey John, really nice build! Tanks going to be sweet. Hey, how did you plan on sealing up that space between that laminate counter top and the front of the tank. You know lots of water will get down in there. That counter top is made of ground up particle board/glue and will swell up and get all janky. I'm sure you know this but just wanted to mention it. :)

First off, for working in the tank, I'll just get out my Cyote Ugly boots and dance all over the bar.

As far as sealing the bar and the tank I still have some work to do. The particle board is just the base, I'll be finishing the bar with a midnight black granite so it'll be grouted/siliconed.

Also, the garage is the slowest party moving forward. I'm having some problems finding the big 200g bins that are holding me back from plumbing.

Are you looking for the big square bins you see in fish stores? I think they are usually grey or white? A guy on RC was selling some a couple of weeks back. I can try to find the thread for you if that is what you are looking for.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for, that'd be awesome if you could help me find some.

Why don't u use ur 90 g tank for the fuge, and just get one bin for the sump area. Use a trash can for the remote sand bed. Boom done

I don't have a 90g crazy. But I am thinking about using glass tanks for fuge and RDSB.

Trash cans don't get panties wet when I'm giving the behind the scene tour of the aquarium in the creepy, dark garage! Lol

Well it's been a while since I updated this build, but Jose and I have had some free time as of recently and are back at it. Here's what's been shakin'

Yes, yes, I have, and used, a sawzall to make clean lines; I just couldn't resist a reason to break the ax out lol.

Going to aquascape today. I'm thinking minimal for this display. Lotsa skirt dropping fish

I want really nice show fish for this tank, but I also want a lot of LPS for the wave box.

..Although, I have a sneaking suspicion all of my SPS will be going in there in a week or two lol.
