Wetdread's 240g Bar Build

Big thanks to Jason from TRFS for hooking up the deal (and helping lift), as well as my boy Nick aka "I just work at Weinschnitzel" for helping me bring this baby home.

Anyway, I just moved into a new house and have the perfect spot for the 8 foot tank I've always wanted.

I just got the 240 tonight, and plan on having it up and running in the next month or two. It will be plumbed into the garage where I plan to have all the filtration etc.

I plan to follow in the footsteps of my fellow alcoholic reefers and build a bar around it, so I always an excuse to stare at the fish tank and make a stiff one.

On to the interesting part: the pics.

All up in the Weiner Mobile in front of TRFS.

Rough ride all the way home on the 91, but she survived.

It hasn't really set in until the stand is built, but I think I'm in love..

Off to a great start so far. Who built the tank? What size holes in the overflow box? Returns also drilled in box?

I peeled off the sticker but it was some company out of Gardena, I'll see if I can find it.

The returns are drilled in the overflows but both look kinda small.


Finally got started on some actual work on the tank yesterday lol.
Here's the start of the stand.
