All my fish really like it. The small fish have a hard time with the big chunks but the tangs swoop in for that so its no problem. I let it thaw in a cup of tank water first then pour it in. my only thing is that when i let it thaw, something disolves and i have orange water that im pouring in. whats dissolving?
ReefRoids and some Arctic pods are orange in color.

CONFIRMED: it's the reef roids. I never defrosted my food in tank water but also got the same color from reef roids on its own.

Choatti, mine was always finicky about not eating non live food too. Rip fell to the 2012 fungal zombie apocalypse.

@ creepy guy from the desert,

I doubt these are dirty. I buy baby squid that is premium grade wild caught. When I cut them and mash them nothing comes out. It's only about 8% of the actual food. Ill look more into it but what I know about food is if you cook it and it doesn't have drippings (fat) or gunk (innards), it's pretty good for you and for fish.

Also all the food added to the complete end product is washed thoroughly in rodi. I rinse it in a china cap once it's all cut. Then I add the other components that aren't hand cut like the garlic extract, supplements and coral food.
Great thanks.

I just bought 2 dwarf angels, a flame and a potters. The flame started to eat right away, the potters was a different story. I tried spectrum, I tried cyclops, I tried mysis, and he wouldn't eat anything...until last night when I fed WickedFeast. He grubbed on all the small pieces that my tangs didn't care about.

I have a big sargassum trigger and a starving group of tangs, so I defrost mine in a cup of tank water first. If I throw in big chunks, my big fish hoard the whole piece.

I have zero complaints. I like the fact that its in a big sheet, it makes it easy to break off a piece. I got enough food to last my tank a good 2 months. All my fish, and Lps go nuts when I put this in. I have big tangs, trigger, Angels, wrasses, clowns, cardinal, and everyone in the tank loves it. So far my tank loves it...I wouldnt change a dam thing.

Thanks Esteban for sharing ur food with us. It really is good shiiit

Ps- u guys can all thank me for telling esteban to sell this stuff....lol

Our fish are similarly sized so I know first hand that how I cut it is perfect for us and our fishes needs. I gotta just cut the meatier stuff finer for the smaller reefs.

Glad your fish dig the food.

Only concern is the larger pieces as Cody mentioned, I will usually chop up a frozen piece first, and then add it to the tank. If I dont, the McCoskers and Clowns go for it but it just chills in their mouth and they eventually let it go.

I have the following fish - 2 Sm/Md Clowns, McCoskers Wrasse, Azure Damsel and a tiny Yellow Tang.

food is great and yes for smaller fish you might want to chop the squid pieces smaller....
I'm thinking squid really isn't in the cards for the smaller fish, easy fix. Don't think it's meant for them. Next batch ill just add mysis and other smaller things for the small batch.

Thanks for the feed back for the Lil guys.

Nah man they really like those chunks of squid or whatever that is, the bright white piece... they just can't eat it easily.... chop it finer for the win.

I think my only complaint is the same as codys.... my fish are smaller and have a hard time with the big chunks... but I didn't specify on my order so that's a my bad and not yours... otherwise all my corals open up more then ever when I put it in the tank so kudos on your part Esteban ... I wont be buying anymore frozen food anywhere else

Yep I totally agree. I dig the all in one idea. Feed the whole tank in one shot.

Since there is coral food in the mix, I think it would be better to feed at night. That way once lights are off and feeders come out, the food will still be in the water column.

My only complaint would be the size of the squid pieces. That being said, they love the squid pieces, just my small fish take turns fighting over them
