My wife woke me up to see the house flooded about 1 inch deep, No it wasn't either one of my tanks! It was my RO/DI unit the plastic filter chamber had cracked in the center, and the water was squirting out from the side. How can that "THICK" plastic crack by itself, weird but true! I had to run down to the job site to pick up my shop vac at 6:30 in the morning to clean up mess. WOW! who would of thought???:fie:

Sucks bro, about a year ago I got into it with the wife.
Long story longer at 520am I hear her sloshing water around. Since we were still ticked she didn't say that she had been mopping for over an hour and wasn't getting anywhere.

The CPR backpack was leaking from the gasket and was dumping saltwater all over our floor. Total was 16 gallons it only stopped cause I tightened the arm or else she would have been mopping for the entire day. Lucky we have travertine floors.

had a slight flood abour 3-4 times.

1. left th RO/DI filling up the trash can and forgot.
2. forgot to cap hose on the NAC6 skimmer and the tube was pointed out of the sump.
3. auto syphon on the ATO (Fixed thisproblem by a simple T valve)

I was thinking of getting this anyone had any experience with Water Alarm Plus? It suppose to call your a$$ if your sh!t is flooding...

Massive flood with my 110g freshwater. About 90-100 gal of water on carpet because return slipped out of tank. This was with a canister filter so the inlet piping went almost all the way to the bottom of the tank so it didn't stop pumping until almost all the water was gone. Had to rent one of those rug cleaners to suck out all water.

I got owned sunday morning when my Mag 7 came loose from the skimmer. Emptied out my sump on to my carpet floor in my room. Thank goodness for Mystic Reef letting me borrow a wetvac or my mom would have beat me upside the head. :viking:
