My experience with long stems on my zoas was because I needed to change my bulbs, and they were trying to reach for the light, this was a noobie mistake long time ago.

You win. I'm powerless from your list of hard to keep and elusive collection of polyps. You're the best I apologize for any grievance this has caused you.

why does anything i post when i want help turn into an argument!!! seriously guys u both have way better **** than me. the most i have is a colony of green bay packers and some pink zoas that somehow lost their bright color. radioactive dragon eyes and some new orange ones i got recently but thats it. u both win how about that, soon i will try to catch up but i got nothing so shut up unless u wanna be kind enough and cut me one or two polyps of each of your colonies to get me started out of the kindness of your hearts....ill even supply the frag disks if u say yes i mean come on, whats one polyp from every colony? u wont even notice its gone and it will help a fellow reefer start his awesome tank just like yours.......

**** +1 for that sign up sheet,... That shizzle is just cray... asking for one of each for free just cause they mucked up his thread, Seriously though if you are having a hard time with zoas you need to do some homework, Probably the easiest corals to keep imo,.. Just move them around different spots in your tank and leave them in a place for a few days to see what does best where.

Yeah I know bro,.. but with your zoas, u will just have to move them around till you find a spot with light they like... eXAmple.. my Captain Americas will brown out when they have to much light... at the bottom of my tank they will have color, but its not the best, mine like to be almost at the bottom and in less flow for the colors to truly pop where you can see them from 5 or 10 feet away from the tank.
