I get it..... RO/DI water for 35 years I've had great success with this salt. The Tank Of The Month curse seems to be lifted, but I can't continue to use it with these problems. I'll switch salt and see if it continues...

It's really not a big concern. I've seen it go from 1.026 to 1.028. In 14 days. You'd think with dumping the skimmer cup and acclimating fish and inverts it would go a little lower. The salinity is just one thing. I have huge calcium build up on the tank walls. It's so bad that I spend hrs...

Thanks guys... It's some crazy stuff. I like to run my SG around 1.025-26 but it seems every time I check my makeup water and tank water I find that the tank water has gone up a lot. Yeah Tom, we've seen the Ca 2 part do this but not salt mix.
