Glad you're ok bud. Hope it's a quick recovery. Take pics of the eye each day and do a time lapse! Would be an awesome "Wear Eye goggles or else! thread

Much better today. Vision is still severely affected. Still super dizzy when I see light or focus on one thing for too long. I am also doing A tea of Arnica on a cloth over my eye. Arnica is a flower that Latinos use on swelling and bumps must be boiled first applied on warm/hot.

Just to bump for the next guy to do something like this. And the crap that comes of not wearing eye protection while fragging palys.

Eye sight on affected eye seems to be a touch better, still blind as a bat. I cannot be in a room With medium to high light or I get pulsating migraines. Worse than I've ever experienced.

I cannot drive a car safely more than a few feet. Keeping my eyes
Focused on anything makes me dizzy and disoriented. This is the first day I can open my eye with out a lot of pain.

Positive side is I think the skin over the eye is healing. And with it my vision.

Seriously...do they expect a full recovery? Or any permanent damage?

Had they ever dealt with coral poisoning before?

No this was new to all the staff at Harbor Ucla. The Opthomologist said it should heal up completely, but it can take days or weeks.

Basically the toxin from the paly burned the top layers of skin on my eye and scratched it in a way to distort my vision.
