WHy, yes, I think it reasonable to assume, that the last moderator to view it, and respond to it, is responsible for closing it...

I would imagine that coincidence do happen, but for a reasonalbe outcome to comne from a reasonable event, especially from a moderator that has done similar in the past, would be a REASONABLE ASSUMPTION;

Shoot me if that reasonable assumption happens to be wrong this time...

Like I said originally, if you cant holdyour own on the issue, you tend to try to sidetrack the subject by using tactics to diffuse the issue...

Stay on subject if you can..

The thread is about low post counts, i.e more traffic, i.e justify the $$$ for sponsors, etc...

The answer is the subject, not your refusal to accept responsibility, and or accept that you or someone else dont know the answer, (while denying others suggestions as to why)

as much as i love stirring the drama pot, thought i'd throw something in.....lots of assuming, and other wonderful things going on, so i'm gonna throw out a few facts, if not for bill, for other members who may be questioning the mods.
bill's thread was not closed due to bill. the mods all agreed it fit the profile of feedback, and although a little rude, was not breaking the rules. everyone wants to know to watch out for getting ripped off.
the thread was closed due to glockomas response, ie. calling names and cursing. that is what killed the thread. glock was told the name calling would not be aloud, and any further incidents would result in a time out. he understood and apologized.
now lets move on and please end the rants.
bill you are welcome on this board, we have no issues with you under any user name and i am sorry if you feel we are out to get you. i assure you that is not the case at all.

You know, I had a conversation with one of the mods here about how I noticed a lack of traffic on this board. I have also read many times in the chat room people talking about legitimate reef issues that many would have been able to benefit from if it was being discussed in a thread as opposed to a chat. Reading the above nonsense is not only unproductive, but it is just plain stupid. Let's talk fish tanks people. That's what this board is here for. This drama is what kills these boards and I for one, can not afford the expensive mistakes that I'll be making if I can't get information from folks here.

I think the chat box is the best part about this site, makes you much more connected to the people here. I just suggest people with questions just post there questions first and then have people in chat got to the post and reply that way. I also thought it would be good to have a weekly topic discussion , I tried starting one last week but only got 2 replies.

Good idea...but if the site is slow, I'd rather just ask in the chat...ya know? That's how most people think anyways...but you're right, I'll try to post more of my questions!
