Leopards are sick!!! I have three, a pair of black leopards and a regular leopard wrasse. The black leopards eat pellets, flakes, and some frozen, the other one doesn't even look at anything that isn't frozen. Really cool fish IMO

Awesome fish.. I had one awhile ago.. I'm hearing nothing but good things about Coral Gazers... Take some more pics when you can..
They are an absolutely amazing store. Nearly crapper my pants when I walked in the back and 5ft24 was more than helpful in picking some great coral frags. All their fish are super healthy as are their corals and they have great prices. Definitely recommend checking this place out. :perfect10:

Is Melanurus Wrasse reef safe?
Mine will pick on snails and crabs from time to time but otherwise reef safe. It doesn't look at any type of shrimp I have cleaners, peppermint, and anemone shrimp.

I also have two leapord wrasses, one blackspotted and one potters. They both eat everything but many die before they do so be aware of that if anyone tries those.

can i keep radaiant wrasse and Melanurus Wrasse in the same aquarums or they will kill eachother?
It would probably depend on the individual but I have several wrasses with the melanurus with no problems. Canary, blue streak cleaner, and two leopards.

Yea best bet would be to add at same time, if not use a capture box place te new fish in that for about a week so The agresor can get used to swing the new wrasse but this doesnt always work

trucha on those melanurus... one killed a rhomboid and a lineatus in bgjoe's tank... we saw it happen, but those guys can't be caught... none of them... even with a trap... so now he just has a melanurus, flame, and that's it... it even punked a xmas wrasse and two yellow coris wrasse to death... but this guy is huge...

so... trucha....

I actually just got the melanurus yesterday with an acrylic trap.. it swam right in for some mysis shrimp. The mystery, however, would have none of it haha.

Seems like the mystery isn't wreaking too much havoc on the hermits and snails now, but I'm still gonna try and get him out again this week.

Which brings up the question, anyone want a mystery wrasse?

I have a leopard & a mystery wrasse in my 90 gal. Never seen leopard eating my snails, crabs or shrimps. Really calm fish. My mystery on the other hand chases the leopard around, eats snails, hermits & starfish & ya he don't want nothing 2 do with fish trap. They both eat frozen brine. **** spontanious purchases!

mystery wrasses are big bullies... really cool looking though. I've read a lot that the longer you have one the more and more territorial it will get. Probably best to add last to an already established tank.
