I noticed a few pieces that looked off were making contact with neighboring acros. I had to move some pieces around, hopefully they fair well.
while staring blankly at the tank trying to figure out where to move what, I noticed a few nice pieces looking happy and figured I’d share.
This one is gonna be tough to move. BC Angelica - mostly just encrusting but it’ll be a constant battle to keep it from getting shaded
once I started popping colonies off I got a new idea of what I want where. I’m only moving a few a day and there will be an ugly phase for sure but I think with some time it’s going to turn out better in the long run. I buried too much nice pieces in the back, I want them front and center.
I’ll update once it settles in and I’m done.

2 x quanta pro OG Pop
2 x kessil a500x
I still need to do some wire clean up and figure out the kessil dongle but just playing around with the knobs it’s looking pretty good. All white on kessils with just the tropics is looking very much like metal halides about 12-14k. It’s good to have shimmer back in the tank.
now hopefully I don’t kill everything

Kessils spread very well. I really love the color all the way white.

My hope is to run just the kessils and tropic sun during the daylight hours. I’ll use the OG Pop bars along side the kessils for all blue. That combo really works well together, the tank looked pretty wild all blue.

Top down. I believe all lights were on here with kessils at 75% color. This reminded me of my old g3 pro radions in AB+ lots of color definition. Everything looks very crisp and the shimmer brings the tank to life. A little more than MH with the kessils turned up high but it looks good to me.

Man I havent surfed in so long LOL. I went on a surf trip In September to Salina Cruz but outside of that South Bay has been so bad. You getting some of that Northside HB action? Looks like there have a been a few fun days.

Yeah I've been getting out pretty often lately. Usually North HB. This morning was super fat 4'+ but I had a blast on this fishy mid I had shaped. I'm supposed to go to Playgrounds, Nicaragua in May so I need to get off the damn mids and surf my shortboards. Hopefully it'll be a decent winter

That spot looks killer. I have been wanting to go to the Boom. That place looks pretty epic also. Get on the shortboard so your ready for your trip.
OGPop plus Kessils blue is pretty sweet
