Hopefully, the fox face will recover in the sump. Sorry that happened.

My fishes are also curious whenever I add frags or snails, and will check it out.

I’ve been sucking up some BRS insta-set into a needled syringe, and adding drops to the superglue. It usually hardens within 10 seconds.

Ah man, that really sucks! Those guys are workhorses and probably one of the best overall algae eaters out there.

Thanks everyone. Looks like he passed in the sump. I feel like the glue hardened with his mouth open and after 5 days like that it caused damage. Or he actually sucked some down, not sure.

A little big to let feed the reef so I’ll probably pull him.

Tanks looking good, specially under blues. Looks great under daylight too, but the aipatsia is getting out of hand.

Has great color. I lost this is my last system, so I’m glad I get to give it another go.

You’re welcome, looks better in your tank for sure! Wish I was able to see it maybe next time

For sure Jesse. Thanks for being flexible and meeting up with me. I'm glad to have a piece of this back in my tank!

They aren’t that easy to come by right now.
I know Ellis has some but I’ve heard they are small. I may go that route, I’ll just need to pull my cleaner and peppermint shrimps. I’ve got a decent pod population too which I guess can be problematic from them actually breeding in the tank?

seems like online places want 30+ bucks per large one so it’d be a small fortune going that route. Also not sure how well they ship.

There was a guy on here who was farming them. He helped me with my Apex and calcium reactor think his name is Eric.

I was in there a few days ago and he has some “larger” ones. I would just text Jayson prior to heading over. Tanks looking good man!

This looks like a great option for sure. Wonder how many I should start with in my tank? 7-10?
I started with 5 bergs in my 180. They did their job! And they breed fairly quick. And I have wrasses to complicate things. I just introduced them later at night. I put them all together inside a cave in the rock work. As they do better in packs.

I think 4-6 larger ones would work. It’ll take a few weeks or more before their numbers start to build before you’ll actually see a dent in aiptasia.

They only live 10 - 12 months and by larger, I meant at least 1/2" long, not the tiny ones that some people sell, as they just turn into food in established tanks that have amphipods.

I went ahead and ordered 5 berghia off the k&p site. I’ll update how they fair the shipping. Hopefully in a few months I’ll see a difference in aiptasia.

for now I’m going to start nuking some with kalk paste to see how that goes.
