So I completed my chemi-clean treatment and the tank is looking a little better.
I also picked up some Sno from Eve, with my last phyto order.
After I did my 20% water change and added carbon and skimmer cup back, I dosed that. My tank was a little murky from the die off but that really seemed to help pull some of those particles out of the water column.
Next battle is GHA/Bryopsis. I'm trying to decide how I want to go about it but I figure I'm going to go with the manual removal and brushing first. I'll brush while I siphon. Now that the cyano is gone my tangs have really been grazing like crazy, I feel like if I get it down they'll take it from there. Part of me wants to dose flux just to be sure though. Not 100% sure, open to suggestions.
FTS from today: Picture doesn't really do it much justice but I'm really liking the new layout. That right side is pretty hollow. I still need to get a lot of that stuff off the sand bed. Once I do it'll look nice and open.
My favorite new tank inhabitant: Gigantea carpet anemone, hosting my female percula. It didn't settle where I wanted but I think I figured out what it was looking for for structure and it looks pretty happy now.
At first glance it looks "tan" but it's hiding some cool colors in there!
Some areas are very tan and other areas somewhat lighter with more color, I wonder which way it's gonna color towards.
