well i just did a huge 50% water change yesterday to fix some low alk issues i have been having, and now im happy to see my water now is in tip top shape for some growth. :burnout:
Looks good Chris. It tends to get more red under lower light. looks like it is recovering nicely. As far as the red plug cant tell you. Do you have cyano in the tank?

its not my frag it was sps4mytanks's, i was just asking why it looked all red. this coral has a greenish base not red. well i know its a small frag to sample the color off of but mine has a greenish base kinda. red only on the tips.
Oh i know at the CFM show speargunhunter had some for sale and they looked red with a tad brown so I asked him and he said they were in his holding tank with very little light. Mine has lots of red but still has the green also.
i guess if the winner has the most growth out of a coral that so many other people could not keep alive then thats a good thing. means he is doing something right.
down to six.... my frag is looking pretty good right now i just hope it stays that way. i am seeing new encrustation all the time. i find it weird that it still has no PE though.

Im out...my frag dropped face first into the sand bed and RTN'd most of it and the rest followed the next day. Good luck to the rest! I think all the winner will have to do is keep it alive lol
