"The Sump" - New hidden forum for OT rants etc

Hey Guys, members with sump access was manually done. Unfortunately it got very tedious. Before, members gained access by having 1k post or being a supporter. This meant members who did not want to see threads, had access too it, and were turned off by it.
Any ideas on how I should improve the system?

I'd say automate it to SCR supporters if that's possible. Members willing to invest into SCR prob will stick around and contribute. Also probably are the ones to mess around with fellow supporters. youngsters, lurkers, and newbs probably won't invest into the forum financially so won't be aware of "The Sump". just my .02 cents
I don't think it should be automatic for supporters. People who complained about the disgusting threads were also supporters. People might not become supporters to avoid those threads.
I think we saw what happened when the minimum was 1000 posts, everyone started posting "nice tank" and "wish you were closer" like crazy.
