Was always curious as to how profitable, or not a store is. I know this can very greatly as I am sure stores like AquaSD makes a ton more than say "Bob and Sue's hole in the wall". Not thinking of opening one lol, was always just rather curious since it is a niche industry.

I break down all my stuff when I do my bi-weekly water changes, All my pumps, filters, reactors, etc......May be over kill, but it definately is preventative:)

the dimmer slows the pump at night...are you talking about the light sensor? They don't work the greatest lol. My moonlights keep them on full blast.

i actually have 4 test kits for ph including my apex

It is located in a bedroom, it has a cieling fan, and ocassionally a housefan on it. A ph buffer works, but only for a few hours and it climbs back down. My apex, API and another red sea test kits all reading the same.

Amm = 0 Nitrate = 0 Nitrite = 0 PH swings from 7.6 to just under 8 Calc 400 PPM Mag 1250ish phosphates 0, or too low to measure salinity 1.026 alk 8 dkh Ph has been my bane since setting this tank up, everything else is in line but my ph, any ideas?
