How long does the LFS have the corals for? Most of the time wild pieces are a crap shoot. They come in really nice and then you don't know what it will turn out to be. Sometimes very nice, sometimes they just go brown.

I used to get it all the time working at the LFS, it got better when I didnt work so much and is completely gone now that I quit. It is very painful and sometimes my skin would crack. You guys need to get a magnet with a blade attachment so you won't need to stick your hands in your tank!

I have 3 clownfish in a 20g. Added a false perc at first then a pair of Picasso and they're all fine.

I would say if you've been running your tank for 3 years and everything looks fine and happy. Just leave it. I used to run gfo and carbon in reactors and one summer I took them off to plug in the chiller. Some of My sps colored up better so I left the reactors offline.
