    Yeah, I have had it for about a year and a half, not the best looking but I am kind of attached to it. That is my dilemma, if I do decide to take it out, I want to make sure that it goes to somebody that will take care of it.

    Thank you both, I have some work to do, but I like how it is coming out so far. One of the first things I need to do is figure out what I am going to do with the clam, its getting to be too big for my tank.

    Its a burrowing sponge, I just read about it today in an old reef book. Frag the zoos if you can, it will eventually kill coral.

    Yeah, I think he said they use them at All Seas, could be wrong. Always thought they could look half decent with a wood frame around them. I installed a tank many years ago with a similar set up.

    Rescaped the whole tank to fit new HOB skimmer and because I never liked the old aquascaping.

    Spent too much time pruning assorted macro algae from the tank. Its starting to cover my zoas and mushrooms. Need to water change but the twins need feeding again.

    High nitrates... at my wit's end...

    I had a friends tank with similar issues a few years ago, we ended up getting a small siphon tube and cleaned out behind the live rock as best as we could. It took some work but really helped with the nitrates.
