do you have one or two external overflow boxes?

so now i got two more things to take care of.

1. to go with the external or not
2. if the hamiltion cebu sun fixture thats 72' long with 3x250 at 20k and with 4x80t5 will be good lighting. Or is 3x250 an overkill? because i plan on keeping acans and chalices and dont want to burn them.

So lets get talking need to have all the info together by friday afternoon ppl.
The 3x250 Cebu that you want to run will be fine for what you want to keep. It uses a one piece reflector for 3 bulbs which isn't the best but it will get the job done.

so heres a lil update.

The tank dems are going to 80x24 (tall)x36 front to back, which makes it a 300 gallon tank. Went with a external overflow like Chris said, and have 4 returns coming from the back of the tank wall. Tank is said to be ready by June 4, and stand should be ready by next week. Still havent pulled the trigger on lighting yet. Dont know if i should go with the gen 2 radions or the sfiligoi infinity xr5 3x250 MH. so still have some thinking to do about that.

Here's some pics of the stand. more to come tom. stand 1.jpg stand 2.jpg stand 3.jpg

here are some bad pics of the tank and stand. i have to take down my old tank to start work on the new tank. I am no longer going to run my MH. i will be doing a t5/led combo. using the 60' ATI 8x80 sunpower fixture, which will be done by Luis T. now i just need some good pointers on how to plumb this bad boy. so maybe these pics will help

Man that sump looks like it came from the apple store. Saweeeeet!!! Really dig the white baffles!
yeah wanted to do something diff.

so i got some parts to start the plumbing, but i think i got one or two parts wrong.

i got the 2' ball value that will go from my sump to my pump. but when it comes to breaking the return 4 ways is where i think i did it wrong. here are some pics of what i got. i will do my best to explain how i have it planed out.

so the ball value will allow me to shut of the water from my sump and allow me to clean the pump. than i have the 2' male slip to threaded which wll go into my pump, than i will put the 1.5' to 1' male adapter into the top part of my pump ( where the water is shot back up into the tank), than the first elbow will allow me to bend the pvc so that i can get it to the outside of the stand, and than the second elbow to allow me to feed the four return adapter. but here is where i think am doing it wrong. if you take a look at the pic and see the 2 parts in the middle. i plan on using those to feed my 4 return, but i have to block off on end, or i can use that line to feed my manifold ( which i dont know how to start lol)

plz ask whatever question you have thanks
