Good to see the copperband is doing well. Did you notice any difference in the type of algae growth on the scrubber when you switched to the compact fluorescent bulb?

Yea the red turf algae started growing on the scrubber. When I had the hydro light I was only getting green hair algae in it. The reason why I had to switch was because the hydro light feel into the sump and fried the ballasts. I'm waiting on new ballast to come to fix it.

Ok got down to do a little maintenance today. Wait all I did was empty the skimmer cup and clean the scrubber screen. Here's what came off the screen


Also someone is doing nicely. No more ick.


And still eating and looking pretty decent. He even let's me touch him when I feed frozen. Also the guy has dam near eliminated all the aptaisas in my whole tank with in a week. Witch now means I'm going to have to start feeding mysis or brine all the time. I hope I can get him on pellets soon I hate feeding daily. That's what auto feeders are for.

Well I'm board and waiting sitting for my truck to get unloaded and decided to look through my photos
Man I'm even noticing growth in just a month. I don't notice it until I look at the pics. Like my red planet here's a pic from 8/28

Now from today.

And red turf algae still fading away.
ATS still growing

The tank is on auto pilot

No. But actually that wasn't even the same CBB. That CBB I had for for like 2 years and I'd say the last 6 months I had him he started picking at the clams.
