1, Name: Allen

4, I made the switch because I had to move had a 100 gallon freshwater could not move with it so I downgraded.
5, How long: I have had salt water about 7 months now, had freshwater for a total of about 15 years. Love making the switch still trying to get the hang of it.

3--Tank size: 75gal
4--Brief history: Bought a 90gal system on whim, learned ALOT & got salty REAL quick (never even had freshwater as a kid). Have had numerous fowlr & reef tanks over the yrs. Just got back in the hobby after selling last system before moving cross-country from FL. in '12.
5--How long in hobby: Since 2002.
6--I'll need help setting up this 75gal system once I clean the tank & sump (never had a drilled tank before; always had HOB overflows).

So.... Been lurking around a bit and have made a few posts, but figured I would finally really introduce myself.
May name is Ben, and I live in Anaheim.
I own a Cabinet and Millwork company specializing in high end custom homes.
This tank has been up for about 4 months now. Always wanted a big tank, but could never afford it. Finally got one... Still can't afford it, but what the hell.
I was a Biology major in college with an emphasis in Marine Biology. Started as a Business major, but hated it.. So what do I do now... Run a business
I put myself through school working at an aquarium shop back in the day. I ended up being the salt water fish buyer. Also spent some time overseas running a collection station. THAT was an adventure
I had been out of the hobby for close to 20 years, and now am back... A LOT has changed since back in the day.
I scuba dive (Instructor), LOVE hockey and baseball, love Guinness and my wife Kathy, although not necessarily in that order.
I expect to make mistakes, but hopefully with the help of others on this forum I can minimize any major ones.
Attached is a FTS from a bit ago. Things are more or less the same, but the tank is still evolving

I've had a fish tank for as long as I could remember and started reefing about 7 years ago. As with many things in life I went through some up's and down's and got out of the hobby for a few years, but returned to it last July. I'm very glad I came back to this amazing and beautiful hobby and I hope to learn many new and exciting things from everyone here.

Hi Scr. Simon from LA. Finally joined but been reading in here for a longtime. Been reefing for 10 yrs and FW for 30 plus. Was never crazy about sw but had a 40 gallon cube style tank with all softies. But lately was think about upgrading to a larger tank cuz my ricordias are taking over all the space. Love where this hobby is heading with all the new color combos.
