Jesus that's a huge skimmer. Isn't your tank only 250g? That skimmer says it's rated for a 800+ gallon SPS tank.
Any reason why u went with that versus a bubble king? Having 4 separate pumps seems like it could be a maintenance head ache.

Not big at all nick. Ill be running etss 2500 super skimmer on my 300 plus 200gal of sump volume

I always assumed a skimmers rating was for tank size, not total water volume. For example, u have a 20g tank hooked up to a 300g sump. Do u need a skimmer rated for a 20g tank, or a 300g tank?

From what ive been told you want a skimmer that can handle total water volume.

I think its total volume. Ive got about a thousand pounds of rock in my sumps but none in the display yet.
