No one in your area able to hold them? Maybe hit up your LFS see if they could set something temporary up for you. Might cost you a few dollars but then you won't have to repurchase the fish!

Can't treat in tank because if the copper. Would never be able to have inverts in there ever. I also think you couldn't keep coral in there ever again.

Don't worry baby girl. U got some reef nerd friends and we'll help u get through ur issue. Keep all ur fish n coral and let's find a way to QT and run ur tank fallow for a minute.

He could use another method besides copper. Hypo? Seems easier to pass off a few coral and drop your salinity than to set up multiple QTs for your fish. But I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to hold them

Ok. What do I need to do to clear out whatever **** is in my tank:

Drain and bleach rock?

4-6 weeks fallow?

New rock and sand without draining the tank?

Maybe ill just sell everything....this **** sucks

I think you just need to QT all the fish and leave your tank fish less for what like 12 weeks I think? That way the organism infecting your fish will die without hosts. I don't think you need to start over or empty the tank at all.

John this totally sucks. I feel your frustration. Unfortunately is part & parcel with the hobby. I think it might just come down to this being a young system. Balance is a hard thing to achieve and it's an evolving challenge with a new tank.

You have a great fish stock. Give some away if you want but keep the ones you really like (like leopards, especially if they're pellet trained) and take these guys up on a QT tank. I have my fish in a trash can right now...you'd be surprised how easy it can be...I was. Hang in there and don't quit...this will just be a blip, trust me.

If I just toss out all my water, sand and rock, will I still need to do 12 weeks fallow? or can I shorten that timeline?
