I would also call the store you got the fish from to inform them of this and give them a heads up if you got them straight from the diver it would be trans shipped and the acclimation time would be hours do to the low ph from being in transit so most likely you got it from the store you made the purchase from and some one was lying to you but if I was spreading diseases I would want to know so I may address the problem

Finished up my return plumbing with a DC6000. The two outlets on the manifold are for a UV sterilizer and my reactor. Just need to find a way to reduce the outlet from 1" to 1/2" for the reactor.

Now that plumbing is done I can start to refill. So far I have 40lbs of dry rock while I wait for my old rocks to dry and the bleach has evaporated.

I don't think the DC6000 is going to be enough flow for your returns and the reactors and uvs... only because I installed the 6000 on my 120 and feel like its barely pumping anything by the time it climbs the 5 ft and splits to the two returns. I don't have it running anything else.

Here's a solution. Sell me the dc6000 for pennies on the dollar and take those shiny pieces of copper and get a dc12000

OK, so here's an update as to what I've done the last couple weeks:

completely drained out my tank
bleached all the LR, except for 1 or 2 pieces that I'm still thinking of reusing to seed my tank
bought a wet/dry and completely vacuumed the bottom of my DT dry
swapped sumps with goober
gave vinegar baths and scrubs to my skimmer, WP40 and WP25
refilled my tank with all new RODI and mixed in RSCP salt to a salinity of 1.026.
bought 2 pieces of shelf reef rock to seed the 40lbs of dry caribsea rock i have
made a manifold with a DC6000
Now i'm debating reusing some of the bleached rock, or buying 40lbs of more dry rock, as well as a 1 or 2 pieces of Cerameco VidaRock down the line.

Heres where im at now:
Ph 8.4. Ca 390. Dkh 14. Amm and nitrite both 0. Nitrate 5. Will be doing some water chamges with some instant ocean salt to bring dkh down to below 10.

Also currently have a pair of clowns from my father in laws tank, as well as an ornate leopard from shawn. All are eating well and have been doing well for the initial 36hrs since I added them.

Don't use old "live rock" to seed...unless u want the possibility of seeding it with the black ich you are trying so hard to avoid.... bacteria in a bottle?
