since you are modifying the stand can you make doors on the side so you can pull the sump out from the side. anything that can happen will happen
Believe me I know! And whatever can happen always seems to happen to me!
I have already thought about this a lot but the way the stand is built, I don't think there's any way to put a door in the side and keep the structural integrity

There are 5 (only 2 are in right now) of these braces in the back and you can remove the sump by temporarily knocking out 1, maybe 2 of them.
Because the skin of the stand is also the structure (there is no steel or 2x4's inside under the skin) in order to have a door opening in the side of the stand, I would think you would need a piece like that to brace it but the space isn't big enough. I just don't want to risk messing with the structural integrity.

I don't think they would be able to angle enough inside to fit through the doors. Either way, I already have the 60g that I'm planning to use. It was part of the setup.

I meant I don't fit in here in Louisiana. I fit right in here at SCR and it will always be my home.

{pause to wipe the tear from my eye... }

That's true. Now if u were wearing hunting camo and chewing tobacco would be a dif story

Need input!!! For the decorative moulding should we center it with the little squares or butt it up to the moulding above it so there's not a small crack showing? I'm torn because I think it looks best to be centered on the squares but I also think since it would leave approx 1/8" space, that doesn't look good either... kinda hard to explain but I think you can see what I mean in the pics...

Centered with gap on the left and butt up against top moulding on the right

And this is what we decided to do on the sides to cover the gap that runs down the center from top to bottom.

If you have the gap fill it with caulking. Once you place the bead wet your finger and run it on top of caulking to wipe excess off and smooth it out. It is paintable when it dries and you solve both issues of the gap and looking correct lined up with the corners.
