so this is what i am afraid of setting up a tank in the SGV SCE is going to turn off power to the house for maintnece from 8am- 5pm what the heck. now i have to run my generator and hope it doesnt run out of gas or too loud and the police does not ticket me cause i have to be at work.

Normally generators are not very loud.. it depends on the generator capacity. Example: 2500 Watt Max Generator running only 800 - 1000 watts will not be too loud at all. If you were running maybe 1800 - 2000 watts, it will rev A LOT HIGHER to achive that power.

If you are talking about running just a main pump, tunze, and skimmer then.. it should not be that bad at all... IMO

Please add 4&5 reasons one can quit.

South Corona is SCE and it's out of control. I heard it's like 30% more than other typical SCE cities. Something to do with a special Corona grid. Just another excuse to rape u$ here.
