Sold my 180 in corona this morning!

I sure hope the news I am hearing that the person is already piecing out my tank isn't true. The person sat in my home and told me he was keeping it and all the live stock. I was happy because I thought they were going to a nice home. If he really is piecing out my tank from Corona then he obviuosly does not have any Integrity,ethics or value in what he says. I cannot tell people what to do once they purchase something for it is theirs to do what they will. Just don't be dishonest about it. I hope it is not true. But if it is, I will make sure that my path never crosses his again. If he is keeping it like he said he was then fantastic. I have had those fish for many years and they were very special to me. I wanted them to go to a nice home that is why I reduced the price for him. He said he was taking them all home and would take good care of them. He was a really nice person and I still feel that way until I see otherwise on this forum. If that is the case then great. But if he really already posted at 7:30 am and came to my house and told a huge story about how he was keeping it. Then life will catch up to him and he will get his one day. My whole life is based on being honest and ethical. I hope others do the same.

WOW. Sorry to hear Frank. Your tank was top notch and I know how much you and your family loved the fish tank. I know due to unfortunate reasons you had to get rid of your tank and was looking for the right buyer. I hate how people take advantage of someone and lie straight to their face for their own benefit. I hope fellow reefers here help put an end to this and not support someone doing this on here. To tell the seller that you are so stocked for the killer deal and this the perfect setup with live stock that you have been looking for just to in turn post a sale thread before he even picked it up is so wrong.

I know you will be back as soon as you can Frank and I'll be here to help you out bud.

That sucks. I mean, he still has the right to do whatever he chooses with his purchase, but still, why not just be honest? I feel for you because I've been wanting to sell my freshwater setup with my rainbowfish, which was my first big setup, and I'm very attached to it, but unable to care for it properly anymore. So I'm very weary of where they will end up if I sold them online or elsewhere.

Thank you I agree, conducting business honestly and with integrity is tha way you succeed. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. Now I say good bye. It is ruined for me. I am out. Especially after the comment from the guy who said take it up with the buyer. No reason for that as I said he can do what he wants it is his. Just be honest about it.

This went South real quick. Integrity goes a long way with old school minded guys, me included.

Unfortunately the new wave of business minded people are out to steal the teeth out of their dead relatives.

Not saying that's what happened here but I've seen it with my competition and in dealings of people I don't like very much.

Unfortunate if word was given; because it should be honored.
But once something is bought it's that persons to do what is necessary or whatever TF they want.

You should be a mod? Calling any one names wont get you to be a mod instead will get you banned. If you want to be a mod practice following the sites rules and SCR is now where close to being like RC, look around you are still here. No one is above the law.

Pro, it's a simple rule. I'm good friends with Jose Casas and he gave me a an infraction a while back for name calling. Honestly, they don't mean anything unless you rack them up. It's just a rule to make this place more hospitable, and it is not his rule, he just has to enforce it...

You must not spend much time on RC, because this place is in no way close to that nazi site...

profit and gain at all cost/lack of integrity is one of the reason's RC is the way it is. It is one of the main things that killed our economy too, all the mortgage fraud from /Wall St. bankers or should I say hustlers like Countrywide.
