sorry, must be slow on the draw, how much? Do you mean how many gallons? If so, its a 180 bow front--I got it on Craigs list a while ago.

If you mean how much did I spend on the frags, can not tell you. Never know if the wife is going to be reading this. Always have to be careful about these sorts of things.

What lights are you running on your system? And how long do u run them for? Thanks

Sent from my iPhone

I have three 250 watt 20 k ushio single ended metal halides and two t5 actinics. I wish I had radium bulbs but my ballast won't fire them up. I have the halides on from 11am to 8 and the actinics on an extra hour on each side. I recognize that is much longer than required but that works with my schedule .

I find it wonderful to stare into the tank and could spend my day doing that happily. Unfortunately , I can't do that . Anyway the lights are on for an extended period so that if I am around , I can get a quick peek into it

Do u not like the Ushio 20k? I had one on a double ended 150 nano and I liked it a lot! Was very blue/purple.

I do like the ushios but everyone who has radiums seems to love them . Wished my ballast fired them so I could try and compare the difference . Always crave what you can't get, what can I tell ya.

All 20 k and actinics supplementation look blue/purple in photo . When you actually look at the tank, it obviously does not look that blue but much bluer than 10k or 14k look

got a new macro lens, 90 mm but on my camera that translates to about 135mm. took a full tank shot, but could only get about 70 % of tank. The magnification of the lens and the room size (I ran into the back wall) limited the shot. Its a 6 foot wide tank but it was fun to try even though its really a 2/3 FTS .

Your 3rd pic is shortcake? You have crazy green in it. My branches grow thick, wish they grew tall and long like that.

I have two different colonies and my other strawberry shortcake does not have much of the green , it is primarily pink/reddish and not nearly as dramatic as this colony. I have this colony up high with lots of flow blasting it. And without trying to sound like a jerk, it really is a stunner. Nice to get lucky once in a while.

Have you tested your nickel and molybdenum levels, ----just messing with you.
