So my frags are blooming and I am not sure if I should just let colonies expand into each other and perhaps shade other colonies or do I trim and go for that neat separate colony look. I am leaning toward trimming colonies because I don't think I want a jungle look of overgrowing colonies.

Any thoughts or suggestions .

That sir, is a good problem to have!
thank you , yes it is.

I think you should trim, wont they sting each other?
Some do and some don't but they generally figure out how to play nice. I have had one coral colony stung and killed by another, probably hit an artery or something (just kidding, no arteries but the colony did die).
very jealous. I in the other hand would have to trim my corals to save them from the colonies dying .
thank you
Cut them, and I'll pickup some of ur frags. Your corals are B E A UTIFUL.

I would also love to help. I vote trim as well, this is a good way to share the wealth, make some milk money and share such beautiful corals

If you have $$$ you let them become a collage. If you feel guilty and need to sell a bit for the wife's hobbies (expensive purses, 700$ heals) do it!
