Bubble algae, how do you get rid of it?

Can you scrape any of it off and suction it out during a water change? When I've found it on plugs and things like that, I can usually pick off the bubbles with my finger nail.

I really like the rock work on the right side. Sorry to hear about the corals you lost during the move.

Picture thread. Post your interesting reef/fish pictures

This is from my old tank back in New York, probably 2005 or so. I always thought this was kind of funny (not for the worm, though). I had just put a new coral in the tank, and a worm popped out of the rock and my cleaner shrimp ran over and instantly gobbled it down.

Found some more hitchhikers....good or bad?

They are pests, but they seem (at least from what i've seen) to spread a lot slower than aiptasia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Found some more hitchhikers....good or bad?

The first thing looks like a mojano anemone. They are a pest anemone, but not as bad as aiptasia. It's hard to tell what the second thing is. It does look like a cucumber, but it could be something else, too. Do you ever see it near any corals? Definitely keep an eye on it.

    Good or bad nudi?????

+1 Most nudis are very specific feeders and don't travel far from their food, so if you found it on some zoas, it was probably eating them. Check your zoas for more, because where there is one, there are likely a lot more.

    Real or photoshopped Pectinias?

That's just not fair. Every time I think I have some nice pieces and my tank is looking good, someone posts a photo of something crazy like that...

    Rock work???

I used a masonry bit, you can get them at Home Depot or Lowes. And by concrete, I meant that E-Marco 400 stuff.

    Rock work???

I used this too, and it works really well. I drilled the rocks I wanted to stack with a 1/2" bit and used 1/2" PVC pipes and the concrete to put them together.

WTB green montis and orange hammer in the I.E.

I'm looking for a frag of a bright green monti cap, and a green cap with a purple rim. I'd also like to get a head or two of an orange hammer. Let me know what you've got!
