Hey Molli. Hows your tank coming along? Everything is good on my end. Just hate my koralia's so I am saving up for some ecotechs. Turns out the rubber stopper on the koralias on the right broke causing the pump to spin in reverse and limiting flow to that side of the tank. Needless to say some xenias started to melt, but I caught it in time and they are on the mends. Here is a quick video..

Wow, very nice! That sea apple looks creeeeepy lol. Was that pump brand new, or from your old setup? And what happened with that guy that killed all your stuff?

My Tank Build

Looks really good! keep up the good work. Are you feeding that Sea-apple?- they eat up tons of phyto/zoo plankton every day! If they are underfed and die it can create a big mess in the tank!

Hey Fernando welcome to the boards! No monetary gifts will be accepted as we are all family and will be more than happy to help you build your tank. PM as I works nights usually so we will have to setup a date and time. There are also quite a few other HD reefers up here that can help such as pgr11, ie glenn, jason (trfs) just to name a few off hand.

Here are a few update pictures:

I removed a ton of rocks from the DT and placed them into the sump to give the tank a more open feeling for the fish. I must have stirred up some things cause all my hairy mushrooms and a few patches of xenia died in 2 days after the rework. Other than that the tank is doing good.

This is where the majority of the rock went. I had so much I also filled the chamvers to the left and right as well.

Hope you all enjoy and I will hunting for a 10 ft tank soon (actually by next year) so expect a new build thread soon.

Looking really good James! Sucks to hear about the mushrooms but DT looks better without all that rock.

HAHA thanks guys you all crack me up (finally took your advice Juan haha). Well Im sure you all know my rant about cleaning acrylic and my old age so I plan on getting a glass tank but rather than height I want something with length for more left to right swim space. With a 10 ft tank my trigger will have plenty of room to swim, my olypic swimming blue hippo can zip around to her hearts content, and I can finally put thta b***h maroon clown on one end of the tank and maybe, just maybe leave my pair of perculas alone for once. Again this may not happen till next year depending on funds and how my arthritis condition goes. Seems to be getting better but I have my moments.
