Okay got the tank cleaned up as much as possible and redid the rock work after drying all the rock for a few weeks:

I wanted some opinions on the middle. Should I reove the two larger support rocks and the plate rock the coral is sitting on and just let the coral sit on the ground? I am thinking it will give more swimming room and might look cleaner, but the wife says she likes it. What do you guys/gals think?

I haven't read every post on this thread, but noticed you changed the rocks cape. Not to be a downer , but I actually liked your original rocks scape better. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, I'm not feeling the new rock work. I think removing some of the rock would give you more options for a cleaner scape. I would make two columns not three. Best of luck.

Thanks for the input and honesty guys. I actually removed alot of the rock work and allowed it to dry for 2 weeks due to a marine velvet out break and some alge issues. With this scape detritus wont be able to be trapped in so much rock. Also with my bad right knee this makes it easier for me to maintain the tank. I was thinking of putting that leather coral in the middle directly onto the sand bed and removing the rocks it sits on but the wifey says she likes it and honestly; anyone who is married knows the wifey has the last say lol!

I like it James. Much better then before. I see lots of potential for nice coral placement. I also like the centerpiece, I would move the leather and add a nice colorful coral as a focal point. Good job on it

I agree it looks better than before butbi would try to move it away from the side glass panes because its going to be difficult to clean the glass with the rock against it. JM2C

Ok guys heres an update. I redid the rock work last night during my water change to try and cyphon most of the dead algae the API killed off. As nice as the three rock column worked I just couldnt live with it as I prefer the rockwall look more. i did take Juans advice and moved the rocks away from the side glass so it will be much easier to clean and will be clean to view from all three sides now. Time to start saving and getting coral again as my tank is looking a lil naked haha!

Just noticed my linckia is 'Walking Like an Egyptian' lol!
