Well I went to Gills in Temecula. What a joke, they did not greet us when we walked in or out for that matter. They had no fish. Reall shocked. So off to S D tomorrow to see what they have. Any stores to go to or stay away from? Let me know.
Thanks

Wc after work. Funny story, when I was changing my filtration sock, I found my sixline wrasse that I thought I lost 3 weeks ago......alive inside! This was the same sixline that got sucked in in my K1! I watched it get sucked in and swirl around for 5 seconds before I pulled the plug. (I was mad at it that time for being a jerk in the tank. ) he lost some scales and color, but that sob recovered! Any fish that has that will to live deserves respect. So I pulled him out of the sock and back in he goes!

Hahahaha, only reason mine is still kickin' is because it was my first fish 10 years ago, making it older than me in "Fish years"... :loldude:

I have wanted to take it out so many times, just never had the heart...

Added another 20lbs of sand this morning. Rinsed it out real well, but still got a cloudy tank. Drove out to see Jason at Tropical Reef Fish Store and picked up a little Blue Tang. He made it home happy and eating well. Getting picked on a bit by the Sailfin and Emperor, but he has lots of hiding places until the hazing period ends.

Had my water tested, so far everything good but my ALK on my nano is high. I dont even dose my nano tank just 5 gallon water change every week. Stared at my bigger reef tank and just loving watching everything thrived so well.

I
1. thanked my lucky stars my power didn't go out like my san diego friends did
2. did 10g water change, filter sock swap, 2 part dosing, skimmer cleaning on my 75G SPS display
3. did 5g water change on my softy tank, cleaned the skimmer, bought and acclimated a lawnmower blenny and some purple up at the LFS
4. fed fish and coral in both tanks, letting clowns bite me multiply in the softy tank as they always do, hungry hogs that they are
5. try to get rid of emerging bryopsis on two zoa frags by treating with high dose tech m
6. drilled a dry rock to mount a future plug in the main display
7. filled up ato reservoirs on both tanks

Cleaning days are always fun...

Placed my lights 5" higher. I think my corals are bleached and I thought it was my water.

Cleaned the glass, made 50 gallons of saltwater for sometime next week.
Filled my ato.

Fed the ingrates and coral.

Did a 10g water change on my 55g, swapped out the filter sock, filled up my ATO.

Did a 3g water change on my nano, cleaned the skimmer cup and acclimated a few zoa/paly frags.

And grab a chair and sat in front of my 55g tank for about 30mins enjoying what I created.

i had my friend test my p04 it is bad .16 i think i have too much fish not enough water change
Thats high just add some GFO and you are set. What salt are you using for water changes? All salt if not strped from po4 add it to the tan so that would be counter product ed.
