thank! so to continue. my old sump was 48 inches long and the new sump closet is only 45 inches long. so I wouldn't be able to use the same sump and I did not want to put the sump under the DT adding more weight. So I ordered a custom tank from Fujimoto aquariums so that I can turn into a sump myself. I ordered it 40x20x20. it would not be able to fit as the closet has a lip that makes the entrance 36" so the tank would have to go in standing up and drop down. With the tank dims of 40x20x20 the diagonal length would be 44" which would fit perfectly in the 45" closet. Well fujimoto really messed that up and built the tank 41x20x21. adding two inches and making the length 46" which would be too long to drop in the closet.
this really stressed me out and the only way to get the tank in was to cut the wall out as you can see in the picture. I wanted the tank a foot off the ground so that I can have room to drain from the sump and easier to view.
